Formal and Friends.

Happy new week, friends! That's right, I only have 3 weeks left of my freshman year in college. Where does time go, you may ask? Yeah, I'm wondering the same thing. It feels like only yesterday I was moving in, meeting my roommates, and making new friends. Like these fabulous girls below:

And now my year is coming to a close. It's been full of some amazing memories like seeing the Civil Wars in concert, balloon photo shoots on the beach, random late night trips to In-N-Out, 70's disco roller skating and Christmas parties with all my dorm mates. These memories are ones I'll treasure for quite a long time, and last night added to the list. Spring Formal! It was great evening of photos, friends, and mexican food! My date, Madison (pictured below) and I went with some friends to the beach to take pictures, along with what seemed like half our school, before the event.

We then walked over for a bite to eat at a mexican restaurant across the street before walking a little less than a mile to the hotel where we had the dance (the girls gave up and took their heels off about 20 feet away from the restaurant... I don't blame them). It was a great night of dancing, laughs and some guy named DJ Hectic who liked to name drop every other song. What a night to close out the year with all my friends. I'm so thankful for all the people in my life, especially those I've met over the past few months. Hope you all enjoy your last few weeks before summer 2012!
